Empowering Kids Through the Joy of Dance
At Little Steps Perth, we believe that dance is more than just movement—it's a powerful tool for coordination, confidence and pure joy. Founded with a passion for making dance accessible and fun, we create an environment where every child can find their rhythm and shine.
Our mission is simple: to provide engaging line dancing classes that foster a love for the arts while building essential life skills.
The classes are casual. Come when you can. Bring your neighbour's kids for a session one week. Get the grandparents to bring the kids another week. No stress, no hassle, just friendly faces and dancing.
No fiddly details - that means no expensive costumes you have to buy, no concerts or competitions, no makeup and hair requirements. Just music and dancing - the things that kids really want to do.

What age groups do you have?
Our classes are aimed at children 5-9 years old. If you have an older or younger child who is interested, get in touch with us for a discussion.
It's best that children can follow some instruction and demonstration.
What should my child wear?
Comfort is key! We recommend comfortable dance shoes or sneakers with good grip. But if you want to wear your best Country outfit, you can do that too!
How are classes structured?
Our sessions are designed to be engaging and educational. We start with warm-up stretches, then move into fun, simple line dance routines that build rhythm and confidence. In between learning we have 'free dance' sessions - so everyone can do what they love most - just dance!
Do you have a registration process?
Yes! We use a simple online registration system. Once you sign up, we'll send you a welcome email with your class schedule and a link to join our fun line dancing community.
What should I pack for my child?
Bring your water bottle (and a snack if you think you’ll need it).
How much does it cost?
Each session is $5 per child. Adults get to join in for free!
